Inspiration

I wanted to create a fun, satirical tool that highlights the hype and chaos around startups, showing how quickly things can go wrong in the tech world combining humor and storytelling.

What it does

The app generates a dramatic, fake post-mortem for a fictional failed startup, complete with hype, bad decisions, founder quotes, and shutdown news all in one story.

How we built it

I used Bolt’s AI builder with a single, detailed prompt to generate the entire site.

Challenges we ran into

Creating a prompt that balanced humor, structure, and believable storytelling was tough. Also, ensuring the output felt engaging without being repetitive required careful prompt tuning.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a fully functional, entertaining app from a single AI prompt that captures the rollercoaster of startup life in a unique, shareable format.

What's next for Startup Graveyard Simulator

Add interactivity like generating new startups on demand, improving visuals with logos and animations, and expanding the app to include user submissions or custom ideas.
