Inspiration

Startories was born out of the frustration of manually submitting our SaaS product to various directories. It felt like a tedious and time-consuming process, and we knew there had to be a better way.

What it does

Startories is a directory submission service for SaaS and startups. We identify and submit your startup to the most relevant directories in your industry, ensuring maximum exposure and helping you reach your target audience.

How I built it

Startories was built using a combination of technologies, including Python, Django, and various APIs. We leveraged web scraping to extract directory data and automated the submission process to streamline efficiency.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest challenges was dealing with the constantly changing directory requirements and the need to adapt our code to stay ahead of those changes. We also faced challenges in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of the user-friendly interface that we were able to create, making it easy for users to submit their startups to directories. We've also achieved a high success rate in submissions, helping our clients gain significant visibility and backlinks.

What I learned

What's next for Startories
