Inspiration
What inspired us to do this is to recreate what an ecosystem would look like with polluted water and dive deeper into the JavaScript language.
What it does
The project shows moving fish in water with trash items. It also offers other actions like moving waves and clouds.
How we built it
We built it in the Replit system, where we put all our data and used other websites to check our coding. We used loops, variables, shapes, and movement to show the environment.
Challenges we ran into
It was very confusing where we had to go put the code and when we had put all the code in, it was hard to debug the whole script.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
In the end, we were able to figure out how our code didn't work and we ended up creating two separate games.
What we learned
We learned how to code in both Javascript and C# and although we had many difficulties, we pushed through and learned the ways of coding for both games.
What's next for Starterkit - Garbage Patch
The next thing is to add to the code and give more variety to the fishes as well as make unique trash components.
