Inspiration

The hardest part about starting a new project is... getting started. One of the benefits of Gen AI is its ability to at least get the creative juices flowing by breaking the ice, or the breaking through a version of "writer's block". In this case, do you have a great idea for the next big company but have no idea where to begin? We have the answer.

What it does

Just type in a phrase, idea, or problem you'd like to solve, and the Start-Up Start Up app will take it from here. It will generate a business name, logo, business plan, investor pitch, and also list helpful instructions on getting the company off the ground and resources to use in order to run the company efficiently.

How we built it

Using an initial prompt through AWS PartyRock, we were able to generate a base application from a vague description of the app that we wanted, and then were easily able to modify widgets until we were happy with the final result.

Challenges we ran into

The only challenge was trying to come up with new ideas or phrases, the app had no lack of suggestions for any ridiculous ideas thrown at it!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Very excited to see that it's working even better than first expected, and the suggestions it provides can actually be extremely useful to the right person.

What we learned

PartyRock is an easy to use app that generates Gen AI apps from an initial prompt, which is a very powerful feature, but it becomes even more powerful with the added ability to customize and add to those widgets, and also control how they interact and depend on each other. PartyRock is making it easy to chain together prompts in an easy and effecitve way.

What's next for Start Up Starter

The app is made up of widgets whose prompts can be refined to improve their performance even further as we gather more feedback, suggestions for other types of widgets may come along, allowing us to add even more value to the app. Other models may come along eventually as well, which may be more beneficial for certain widgets. But first, let's see if what we created so far can be helpful to at least one person start their own business!
