Inspiration
All the young women that are turn down by a society that puts them in a disadvantage position. This position make it hard for them to access resources and improve their lifestyles.
What it does
This platform helps women get these resources and connections. The internet make easy the communication between people. We need to take advantage of that so that between women we can support each other.
Investors can find startups or create competitions to find one. Startups can find investors, employees and stream live pitches.
How we built it
We first used figma.com to create a wireframe for the website and canva.con for our logo. Then we divided the work and started coding a website with html and css. Lastly we use domain.com and Github to publish.
Challenges we ran into
Most of us are new to programming and hackathons, so we had to work hard to gain knowledge for this project. The personalized domain stopped working so we had to troubleshoot.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that in less than 24 hours we were able to create the mock up of a website that we can continue developing in the future. We hope this idea can one day help women entrepreneurs.
What we learned
We learned how to brainstorm, wireframe, and code collaborative. Also, we learned more about the features css has to offer.
What's next for Start Line
We hope we can continue working on the user interface and finish the complete site. Then, we would love to share it with minorities so that they are the first ones to take advantage of this venture.
