I host monthly startup events. Promoting them online and on social media with original and engaging content is hard. My template helps create better events for the startup community

Inspiration

I run the local Startup Grind chapter and I love planning live local and virtual events. But promoting events is tough. And creating original and engaging marketing messages on a tight timeline is really, really hard for me.

What it does

My AI template allows an ecosystem builder to put in to few details and BOOM our template gives you a 2 month countdown of email and social media posts about your event. All you need to do is post them!

How we built it

I used Coda AI's AI Blocks to generate an event description. I also used the AI columns to create the content for each post.

Challenges we ran into

I wish I could automate the actual posting of the content. I plan on exploring the packs in Coda to extend the template. Maybe I'll create one of my own.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I learned how to use Coda formulas and AI features during this hackathon. I was able to create a few posts that I will use for my next Startup Grind event. Check it out at www.startupgrind.com/rochester/

What's next for Startup Event Promotion Template

I want to continue automating this template so people can schedule these activities and not have to do that step manually. I would also like to explore using Coda and the event page themselves for ecosystem builders to use Coda as a one stop shop to run their communities.
