Inspiration
The vastness of space and the stars within it have always captivated us. We wanted to create a project that would help others learn about and appreciate the celestial bodies in our galaxy.
What it does
The Starlight Explorer is a web application that provides information and images of stars in the galaxy. It is designed to be user-friendly for anyone with an interest in the cosmos.
How we built it
We built Starlight Explorer using Angular, Git, and NodeJS. Two of our team members were able to learn these tools for the first time during the development of the project.
Challenges we ran into
During the development process, we faced several challenges such as lack of sleep, debugging difficulties, and the challenge of bringing our ideas to life. However, through collaboration and problem-solving, we were able to overcome these obstacles and complete the project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of what we have created with the Starlight Explorer. We believe that it will be a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning about the stars in the galaxy.
What we learned
Working on this project allowed us to learn new technologies and improve our problem-solving skills. We also learned the importance of persistence and teamwork when facing challenges.
What's next for Starlight Explorer
We plan to continue improving and updating the Starlight Explorer, adding new features and information as it becomes available. Our goal is to further develop our programming skills by adding features to the application.
