Inspiration
The idea for StarkNet DeFi came from the desire to create a truly accessible and scalable financial ecosystem. We wanted a platform capable of handling global micro-payments, preserving user privacy, and bridging assets like Bitcoin to the StarkNet network. The challenge of democratizing financial services in a way that’s fast, cheap, and secure motivated us to leverage L2 tech and zero-knowledge proofs.

How we built it
We developed StarkNet DeFi using:
StarkNet & Cairo for scalable smart contracts
Python for backend automation
ReactJS & Web3.js for the frontend and wallet integration
Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) for transaction privacy
Docker & Vercel for deployment and hosting We focused on modular architecture and strong security practices, integrating custodian-free Bitcoin bridging and multi-layer privacy.
