Inspiration

The inspiration to make this dApp come from Vimeo, a popular platform that allows content creators and fans to interact.

What it does

A Platform where Fans request personalized video messages, received as exclusive NFTs they own, forging genuine connections with their favourite celebrities.

How we built it:

We used Hardhat for smart contracts, React for the frontend, React-router for page routing, Node.js for backend, and etherjs for blockchain connectivity. Deployment was handled with Speheron.

Challenges we ran into:

Our main challenge was bridging the frontend and blockchain, which we overcame with tutorials and documentation. We learned valuable lessons about teamwork, meeting deadlines, and NFT technology and using Spheron's powerful Platform to host our dApps with ease.

What's next for StarConnect:

We plan to enhance UX by simplifying file imports for content creators and enabling fans to easily pin their NFT metadata on IPFS.
