Inspiration
On a rainy morning, I sat on my couch hands rummaging through a container of starburst.
I pulled one out, and in my palm there lay a hazardous, orange colored excuse for candy.
I shed a single, manly tear, and felt the urge to hack a solution.
What it does
It separates out the orange startbursts into a separate container.
How we built it
15 hours of 3D printing and plenty of CAD and code.
Challenges we ran into
At least 4 of those 15 hours were failed prints. A lot of time was spent calibrating the color sensor and refining our designs.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our team has been awake for a combined 105 hours over the past 24 hour period.
What we learned
Good planning ahead of time goes a long way.
