Stalking has never been so easy!
Stalkr is a super light-weight chrome extension, in which all you need to do is click, type your stalkee, and click again! Stalkr will bring up four windows, each with a different website profile for whoever you typed in, and will even open google's image search page filled with their beautiful face!
This was my first hackathon where I actually got to hack, but I felt pretty naive when it came to my skill sets. After exploring different ideas I had, I decided to work on a chrome extension, and that's where stalkr was born! This was my first time making an extension or even typing a line of javascript. Even though the learning curve without a partner was a bit tough, I am still very satisfied with how it turned out.
ItType in one name and you get all these groovy major website profiles for the person. If I develop more for it, I want to try to get it more precise on website location, and maybe look into a backend web scraper. I also want to get it so it can recognise non-famous people, but that is far in the future.
