Inspiration

Community work is one of the main driving things for the developer community, and nothing better than stack overflow to show off. Using LinkedIn as the primary show off the platform, I wanted to show off my work towards the community. And thus was born this project.

What it does

This converts your stack overflow flair in a form which is compatible with LinkedIn policy.

How we built it

This is build using Node, Shell Scripting, Phantom JS and lots of hacking.

Challenges we ran into

Phantom Js had a difficult learning curve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The fact that I can help the community in any way is the biggest proud moment.

What we learned

Learned a lot of things from dealing with complex problems of optimization, serialization, and everything else.

What's next for Stack Overflow Flair for LinkedIn

I will be making the platform more accessible, cleaner and faster.
