SSMCT Website

Inspiration

I was inspired to start on this project by observing other Singapore CTF teams and their professional websites. I wondered if I myself could make a website in order to spread our influence not just across Singapore, but the world, by sharing educational CTF writeups with others.

What it does

This website introduces the Singapore Students Merger CTF team, whilst also allowing members to post writeups, blogs, and images relating to our team.

How We built it

Our team consisted of several members working on seperate portions of the website, including design, frontend and backend. I mainly focused on code reviewing as well as completing pages and backend systems not taken up by other members.

Challenges I ran into

It was difficult getting members to complete the website in time, as out development team was big, however constant monitoring of progress allowed me to take over if a member was too stressed or was unable to finish their page

What's next for SSMCT Website

We plan on adding additional features, like a in built WSGI editor, which will make creating writeups much easier. In addition, we will be improving the SEO of the website in the coming months.
