Inspiration

More than 2 billion ton of wastes produced every year and only 20% from them recycled from here my application came out

What it does

The application has 3 main parts:

  1. the main function for the application is in this part, the user starts to take photo for the item he/she wants to recycle and this analysis by AI to give the user ideas to recycle this item.
  2. part that gives the users some articles to increase their knowledge about the sustainability, recycling and environmental problems.
  3. part that talks about the application, short info about the application

UI/UX

The UI/UX design designed to support digital sustainability by choosing colors that reduce the consumed energy by the device

How we built it

I built it using dart as programming language flutter visual studio code as IDE Photoshop and illustrator for interfaces design

Challenges we ran into

I faced a lot of errors and a problem to connect application to AI (API) as it was my first time to deal with it

Accomplishments that we're proud of

That was my first coding application, and the result was satisfying

What we learned

I learned about API and some widgets in flutter like pdf widget

What's next for SRG (Smart Recycling Guide)

  1. To make the application save the old projects
  2. increase the number of the articles found
