Inspiration
I got an internship at the ISU's Virtual Reality Applications Center this semester and I now have a new passion for AR and VR and wanted to put my skills to the test.
What it does
its a 15x15 ft. game board that you are able to see in the real world around you. You set turrets up to shoot down jayhawks to protect to HackISU Squirrel.
How I built it
I used Unity and Visual Studios.
Challenges I ran into
Building and deploying the game onto the Hololens is a major pain. Also difficult to test applications.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I did create a simple tower defense game.
What I learned
I learned how to create a video game using Unity and learned a lot of new tricks with using Unity and Visual Studios
What's next for Squirrel Defender
Trying to get it to fully work on the HoloLens
