Inspiration

Non-fungible tokens (NFT) are available in many mobile applications and marketplaces. Adding Square's eGifts Cards in the form of NFT will provide an innovative way for small businesses to promote their producs.

What it does

Mobile application that enables merchants to create Square eGift Cards in the form of NFT, make them available in NFT marketplaces and mobile apps, and accept them as payments at their store and online.

How we built it

Android application integrated to Square API, it enables the Square merchants to authorize access to create Gift Cards for the store. We are using Nodle blockchain as it has a popular Nodle Cash Wallet which stores NFT. We also integrated to Make.com to complete the Authentication.

Challenges we ran into

NFT are stored in the blockchain and are visible by anybody, so the main challenge was how to display a graphic NFT with the Gift Card number for the owner of the card but prevent other people from using it.
