ResQNode is a smart emergency response device inspired by the need for faster help during accidents and hazards. It detects falls, gas leaks, and abnormal activity using sensors, and sends real-time alerts with location data. Built using an ESP32/Arduino with multiple sensors and a cloud backend, the system enables quick response in critical situations. We faced challenges with sensor accuracy and integration, but successfully created a working prototype with real-world impact. Through this project, we learned IoT development and real-time communication, and plan to improve accuracy, add a mobile app, and make the device wearable.
