Inspiration
My passion for space exploration has always been evident, and I see it as a rich theme that can enrich various learnings, including SQL, one of the first languages I encountered. Its simplicity allows anyone, with just a few minutes of research, to venture into the game. With this fusion of the vast universe of space exploration and the accessibility of SQL, I sought to create an engaging and educational experience for all players.
What it does
Helps SQL beginners to study basic commands in a fun way.
How we built it
Using aws partyrock.
Challenges we ran into
We face inherent challenges within the No Code platform, such as the limitation of AI models. For instance, the difficulty in clearly incorporating text into images, something I've been trying to solve for a long time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Having successfully built a solid game framework, with the potential for future enhancements.
What we learned
No code platforms are excellent tools to enhance creativity and bring projects to life, like this game. Developing it was a rewarding experience, and crafting the idea using a no code platform was much simpler than starting from scratch, dealing with various programming and architectural concepts.
What's next for SQL Space exploration
I intend to enhance table structures by refining rules to make the AI slightly less permissive, preventing players from inputting incorrect commands. Additionally, I plan to improve puzzle logic and introduce more complex commands, such as creating visualizations, procedures, and triggers.
