Inspiration

I have always thought of learning SQL but never overcame the block but LHD came as a saving grace for me and I finally took my first step to learn SQL. I hope to continue to dive deeper in the coming days.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge for me was that it was my first time seeing the SQL script and when you are starting out it becomes overwhelming and one does not where to start and to start.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

From knowing absolutely nothing to understand what is SQL and what are some SQL commands.

What we learned

Following are the things that I learned today:

1. What is SQL?
2. What SQL can do?
3. Some important SQL commands like SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, etc.

What's next for SQL

There is a lot more to learn in SQL as it was just the day-1. After getting the theory done, it will be time to incorporate what I learned in a project. I plan on designing a simple webpage that requires a database. And then I will use it in my portfolio website to take it to another level.
