Sprout helps children aged 2 to 6 practise letters, sounds, reading, writing and numbers in short activities. A companion joins the child through narrated lessons, word-highlighted stories, blending, tracing and celebrations. The journey and sticker garden reflect saved progress.

The free garden provides one explorer, the first lesson in each area, original stories, capital-letter tracing and numbers to 10. Sprout Complete is a one-time purchase that opens the full learning library, additional practice, up to eight explorers and a printable family journal. Existing Family Plus purchases also qualify. Prices come from the current store offering.

Purchases, account management and external links sit behind the grown-up gate. A parent signs in before buying, and RevenueCat entitlement checks associate access with the parent account. Sprout has no ads or chat. Narration is generated in advance and delivered as audio, rather than sending a child's speech to a speech service.

The goal is a calm place to practise together.

Sprout uses TypeScript and React, with Clerk parent accounts and Convex for saved family progress. RevenueCat associates purchased access with the parent. A practical design challenge was making the free and locked learning paths understandable without obscuring lesson text; the final pass removed a bright overlay and separated the unlock badge from lesson titles.
