A dream-come-true landing page for my real-life yogic retreat, with one-click pay links and an immersive experience, built solo to create a new life for myself :)

Inspiration

Wanted to change my life, as had been stuck in corporate but was afraid, as have a family and bills to pay. Found myself making excuses, until I saw the hackathon and decided to at least TRY to make the changes I was wanting. Also inspired and driven by the fact that Stripe does not operate in South Africa, and so I needed to find a way to monetise my site. Decided to integrate Yoco pay links, one click buttons,that instantly get user to be able to book my retreat. Inspired by all my peers in wellness, who still use link tree, and old school CTA's like "email to book" and really need a site like this one.

Wanted to show others, that tech is more accessible, even to those outside of tech. Also a qualified Yoga Teacher and have wanted to bring this to life for years now.

What it does

It allows for one pay click buttons. (yay) Also allows user to fully get immersed as up loaded natural waterfall videos, so they can feel like they are on this stunning piece of land. It has a cool no-code back end (Fillout form builder) that saves all the persons details, that fills the booking form in, and emails it to my email address.

How I built it

Used Bolt + Fillout ( Backend Form Build with Logic) + Yoco Paylinks ( integrations)

Spent tons of time getting a PRD together, to really understand and get clear about what I was hoping to achieve.

Challenges I ran into

Time, and design issues as really wanted MORE than a boring old landing page. Wanted to give my user a gorgeous experience.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Love that it takes payments, that was HUGE for me. I also like that its not a usual landing page, its an expereince.

What I learned

You must always have a PRD :) Procrastination is real ( FEAR) hides nearby, and you must push past this. Also no matter what, you can always bring your dreams into real life, you just need to first be willing!

What's next for Spring Full Moon Retreat

This is the start of many more in real life retreats. My pause me app tied in well with this landing page, without me realising at the beginning.
