MacOS Spotlight + Windows Power Toys

What it does

It's a Spotlight-like search bar that can do anything you ask it to, from raising your volume to creating new react projects.

How we built it

I used C#'s WPF along with the OpenAI's GPT 3.5 Turbo Model

Challenges we ran into

Challenges were actually getting the AI to respond in the proper format. When I wanted it to do something I had to make its response had to follow a specific formula and getting it to follow that formula proved challenging at some points.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud of having it actually be able to do some simple tasks on your computer.

What we learned

I've never touched windows app development so learning how to develop a windows app was one of the biggest things I've learned.

What's next for SpotlightGPT

I'd like to improve SpotlightGPT and have more functionalities like being able to actually be a clone of yourself.
