CBRE Track - SpotIt is a streamlined campus tool that helps Texas university students locate essential resources like bathrooms, printers, and microwaves with ease. Using a real-time map, SpotIt quickly shows the nearest options for each facility, making it convenient for students on the go. Real-time updates to ensure students can find clean bathrooms, operational printers, or available microwaves without hassle. With SpotIt, finding basic amenities on campus is faster and more efficient, saving time and simplifying students' campus routines.

The main design decisions for this app are centered around simplicity, clarity, and ease of use to help users efficiently track and locate their household devices. The app features a defined mapping system where the locations of facilities like printers, microwaves, and clean bathrooms are represented by fixed, pre-set pins on an interactive map. These pins correspond to specific facilities and are labeled with the facility type. The design is minimalist, ensuring a clean, uncluttered interface that prioritizes functionality. Users can quickly identify the locations of their devices through a clear visual layout, with a dropdown menu allowing users to select the types of devices that they want. The focus is on creating an efficient organizational tool that simplifies device management, without adding unnecessary complexity or personal storytelling features. This straightforward design ensures that the app is highly practical, helping users quickly find and track their devices while maintaining a smooth and intuitive user experience.
