Inspiration

Old school music visualisations. Greyscale. wave forms.

What it does

It takes specific track analysis from the Spotify Api and visualises it using an animation.

How I built it

We built this using the NodeJs environment, with expressJs as a web framework and p5.js as the view.

Challenges I ran into

Getting my head around promises and linking the data with the prototype animation. And None of us have used p5 before.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Coding using the p5 library.

What's next for SpotifyVisualizer

We want to be able to change the settings for the visualisation using a Gui where the settings can be changed by the user and saved. We hope to have specific animation sequences linked to individual tracks within the users Spotify library.
