Inspiration

My inspiration for this project was my love for music combined with coding. I decided that this project would be best at showcasing both

What it does

It uses the Spotify web API to detect what you are currently listening to, the last song you listened to, your top 20 songs, and your top 20 artists.

How we built it

I built this project on react-bootstrap and through the Spotify web API GitHub using that as the backend and then creating the frontend myself

Challenges we ran into

challenges along the way that I faced were the actual calling of the API as i found it difficult to find the syntax and how to apply it to my project

Accomplishments that we're proud of

being able to use a API for the first time

What we learned

i learned how to utilizes API's in my projects and what it opens the doors to in the future

What's next for Spotify Unwrapped

the next step would be encorprating more user inputs to get a more specific experience for the user
