What it does

After uploading a selfie, the Spotify Playlist Generator determines the emotion of the selfie and outputs a corresponding Spotify playlist. A total of five emotions can be detected: Happy, Angry, Sad, Surprised, and Neutral.

How I built it

I trained my emotion detection model with a Keras convolutional neural network (4 convolutional layers and 3 dense layers). My final model had about a 90% accuracy.

I used Javascript, HTML, and CSS to format the webapp.
