Spotify API

Inspiration

Inspired by the daily challenge from the event, "Local Hack Day: Build" to use a Music API and the week-long challenge to connect two APIs together.

What it does

• It allows users to browse Spotify genres, playlists, and tracks
  
• If interested, users can request an email of the tracks with high popularity rating (above 95) from the selected playlist

How I built it

This project was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and third-party APIs.
APIs used: Spotify Web API, Mailchimp Transactional API

Challenges I ran into

There were problems while setting up the emails for Mailchimp. In the future, the email setup will still need to be done in order for the email feature to work.
