Inspiration

The inspiration to create this project is basically to reduce the tedious waiting time people face while waiting in queue for their turn in pharmacy stores, salons, restaurants , banks etc

What it does

Spotblaze eliminates physical lines by allowing customers to join virtual queues from anywhere, providing real-time updates and notifications, while simultaneously optimizing service delivery and providing data-driven insights for businesses to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

How we built it

Spotblaze was built with a focus on accessibility and performance. The frontend utilizes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create an intuitive user interface. The backend and API are powered by Python, ensuring efficient data processing and secure communication. All customer and system data is securely stored using a lightweight and reliable SQLite database, chosen for its ease of deployment and integration.

Challenges we ran into

The main issues were fixing the backend because it turned out way to buggy to be fixed , after that the api calls were not possible and frequently showed issues and after fixing everything the whole project worked efficiently!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I feel so happy and content on completion of this project because this was one of my dream projects that I thought of making it during my early years of undergrad studies and after an year or so the wait was gone ! Finally, I built this project brick by brick, making sure all parts of the project worked well and made my first accomplishment of completing a full stack project makes me the happiest person!! & hearts

What we learned

I learnt one of the important lessons of my life is to not lose hope when things don't go the way you plan or else face to many hurdles in your life because it's preparing you for something bigger in life. The issues you face and overcome will make you the best version of yourself. The late night sessions of debugging, fixing the backend and api errors and basically test all parts individually as well as whole to make sure the project works well as a full stack project gave me strength and capacity to handle things on my own and fix all issues on my own as well.

What's next for Spotblaze

It's a billion dollar worthy idea if implemented and deployed efficiently under the guidance of well trained mentors. In this modern era of internet and ai people hate waiting for there turn to recieve any services from salons appointments, pharmacy stores lines, airport check-in,banking to restaurant serving . People hate the wait and would like to recieve services at doorstep .So, this is simple approach to solve the problem. This can still be made better by offering services for hackathons by providing same application or platform to build and host .Even setting up queue for participants so, that they can know when is there turn to use the software or platform with limited time period so, that all participants can get equal time, no partiality ,served based on first come first serve and everyone gets time to test, debug and host the there softwares in the same site. Mainly, it can help the major customer service providers by adding there service or small business also into this application . So, that people can view the services provided and pick as well.
