Our Story
Our journey didn't begin with big plans or boardroom strategies — it began with a single, unforgettable moment.
On my birthday, I visited We CAN India, a special school in Chennai. There, I met a little child with autism who was struggling with things that seemed so simple to the rest of us — tying his shoes, holding attention for more than a few seconds, expressing what he felt inside. Every small task was a mountain to climb. And I stood there, watching, feeling utterly helpless, asking myself one question that wouldn't let go: why is it so hard to find help?
That question became the spark for everything we do today.
But this isn't just a personal story — it's a reflection of a much larger crisis. Today, 1 in every 31 children is affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. The prevalence has surged by 178% since 2000, yet the solutions available for these children's development have seen almost no growth. Families are left searching, waiting, struggling to access the support their children desperately need. This is the gap we exist to bridge.
That's why we built Sports4Autism — an interactive, gamified Mixed Reality platform that transforms any screen into a virtual therapy companion. Through engaging movement-based games, we help children improve their motor skills, sharpen their focus, and build real confidence. A real-time dashboard tracks every step of their progress, giving therapists clear, actionable insights to personalize care. Now, it's a fully-fledged Mixed Reality-powered platform with a live dashboard, real-time metrics, and expert validation. We've evolved from a raw idea into a tested, scalable solution — one that's ready to grow and make a real impact.
In Sports4Autism, child progress is monitored through comprehensive, multi-dimensional parameters tailored for children with autism:
Motor Skills – Balance, coordination, and proficiency assessed using standardized tests like the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test (BOTMP)
Behavioral & Social Growth – Tracked through the Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) and parent reports
Communication & Adaptive Skills – Evaluated via the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale (VABS)
Physical Activity – Real-time monitoring of intensity and engagement
Emotional Development – Social responsiveness and empathy assessments
This holistic approach ensures every aspect of a child's development is tracked and nurtured.
Our Impact
Our platform aligns directly with the UN Sustainable Development Goals:
- Goal 3 – Good Health & Well-being
- Goal 4 – Quality Education
Out of 80 children tested, 70% showed visible improvement in coordination and focus within just two weeks.
Sports4Autism is more than a platform — it's a movement to make therapy joyful, inclusive, and affordable. Because every child deserves not just therapy, but a chance to play, grow, and shine.
Every child counts. Every journey matters.
