Problem The Indianapolis area is facing a unique challenge of hosting the 2022 College Playoffs in a post-Covid era. Those coming to the event will be excited to get out of their WFH office, but how will they get around? This coming January, 500 thousand people will be flocking to Lucas Oil but they will need help finding restaurants, open parking, and things to do around the city after the final whistle.
Solution The ideal solution for all 500k people in need of a tour is TechGuide, our interactive event app. With TechGuide, users will be able to use all the functionality of a regular map app, but with specific information relevant to the event and their own preferences. The TechGuide app will utilize crowdsourced data to produce real time information for it's users, making it easy to compare services, i.e. wait times, parking lot availability, crowding & more. Finally, users will enjoy intentional coloring on the map to represent "hot spots" (no pun intended) identifying heaters placed by the city.
Market Size Starting with a large current market size, we are looking at $10.5 M TAM within the first 5 years. Competition Despite the competition, TechGuide is the only app that combines city and event information, making it one of a kind.
Business Model TechGuide is a paid B2C, SaaS solution utilizing crowdsourced data similar to current products like Waze and BeMyEye who use crowdsourced data to drive revenue.
Marketing & Sales Utilizing a four pronged marketing strategy and a three tier sponsorship strategy we expect an ROI of over 5.7% in the first year.
