Sport Sort

Inspiration

Our main inspiration was the difficulty in organising sport games that require a large amount of people to play that would normally only be possible for large, professional sport clubs. Sport Sort aims to provide the same matchmaking service for casual sport players

What it does

Matches up people with similar sport interests to organise a quick sport game.

Inexperience in linking back-end to front-end

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite being extremely inexperienced, we were still able to persist in completing the project as well as we could

Lead in designing the front-end of Sport Sort. Using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and Onsen UI.

Brendon Shi
I was assisting back end and liaising with admin. We learned a number of new languages including JS, implementing Flask with SQL and non SQL. I aided this by providing learning resources.

Ashwin Sarkar
I worked heavily on back end in trying to get databases to work together with the server and for input to be able to be read from the front end into the database

Khye Low
I was developing the framework responsible for the implementation of front-end and back-end via the Python Flask, additionally using JavaScript in the process to communicate with the web application.
