Inspiration

I have always loved watching horror films in the middle of the night all by myself! My love for the combination of mystery + horror inspired me to create this project.

What it does

Spooky Mysteries of The West provides interesting real life mystery stories of the Wild West. Alongside that, it also contains a separate section called "Movies" which contains information to few of my favorite horror western films.

How we built it

I built it all by myself using HTML and CSS. The animations were built using JavaScript.

Challenges we ran into

With such little time in hand, it was extremely difficult to come up with an idea to this unique yet probably my most favorite theme! I faced difficulty in coding the animations and aligning all the elements together using CSS.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am so excited to have built my favorite project so far, all by myself. Starting from figuring out the code to building a pitch deck!

What we learned

I learned a lot about making a website user friendly and attractive. I had to change the theme and color combination of the website multiple times just to make it look aesthetically pleasing. I also learned a lot more about alignment and different ways you can style an element.

What's next for Spooky Mysteries of The West

In the future, I plan on adding an interactive spooky game as well as add more information to the existing pages. I also hope to take user input to add more extra features and improve the existing ones,.
