SPOOKTOBER-PROJECT
Spooky fun trick or treat type game. This game is a test of knowledge(kinda) of the background of horror characters. The killers are like trick or treaters that knock on your door. You must choose the right image to appease them or they will kill you. For each correct choice, you gain a point for a max of 5 points. For each incorrect choice, you lose a heart from the max of 3. You lose once you lost all 3 hearts. You win if you complete the 5 stages. There will be a surprise at the end.
The trick or treat that occurs every Halloween inspired us to create a game based on it with a twist. We incorporated characters from our favorite horror movies as the trick or treaters wanting to kill the player. There is also a surprise at the end whether you win or lose. Both are spooky for the theme. We learned a lot through this project. We basically learned how to code everything in HTML/Javascript/CSS. It took us a while to get the website working since we are new to the languages and have little experience. We stumbled upon a few challenges like making infinite loops and trouble aligning images. We eventually solved these by looking over the code and doing further research.
