Inspiration

Our team noticed that we struggle with managing time to clean our rooms, so we wanted to design an automated product that would help with this.

What it does

Our product simply cleans up dust and mops the floor.

How we built it

We built our product using an Arudino, a motorcontroller, and dc motors.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenge was we did not have working power source and had to be creative in terms power connection.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our approach in solving this issue, as well as figuring out an alternative to a battery wire snap with a paperclip due to a bad connection.

What we learned

We learned how to construct a fully-functional design using electrical components.

What's next for SpongeBot

The next steps for SpongeBot is adding a Febreeze sprayer, remote control, and turning wheels.
