Inspiration
We were inspired by how there isn't a convenient way to split bills from a restaurant. It got really annoying to keep track of how much money every individual who ate at the restaurant owed. We decided to create a telegram bot to make easy payments so that the person who actually paid for the bill doesn't have to individually send messages to remind them to pay him back
What it does
It is essentially a bot that keep tracks and split bills amongst friends in telegram groups

Challenges we ran into
There were some problems with the documentation, and we had a hard them deciphering it causing us to be stuck at certain parts for a few hours.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Despite our heavy schedules, we persevered and tried our best, giving it our all to deliver what we could deliver. What was most important is that it does not matter anymore, because what is more important is that we grew and learned from this experience, and it strengthened our bond as friends.
Also, relearning python woohoo + learning some data structures for CSV files
What we learned
If there is a will, there is a way, this was said by one of my teammates, Sim Wee Kee, and it left a great impact on me.
At the same time, we picked up python on the go, as some of us did not have prior experience before.
What's next for Splitter bot that somehow works
With the limited time we have, the next step going forward would be to implement a database system to help query the data better
