Thanks for sharing the story, Vaibhav. Here's a refined and humanised version of your project story — simple, clear, and heartfelt:
Back in April, I was attending Network School. Every now and then, I’d go out for lunch or dinner with a few NS folks. But every time the bill came, it was chaos. We had to manually share wallet addresses just to split the payment. It felt like something so basic shouldn't be that painful — especially in Web3.
That’s where the idea for Splintzer was born.
Splintzer makes splitting expenses super easy. You can settle bills in any token, from any chain — and the final settlement happens on Base Network in USDC.
Users can create a group, invite friends via email or wallet address, and simply upload the bill. The AI takes care of the rest — from figuring out who owes what, to simplifying the final payments.
This is my first ever product. I’m not a techie — I’m a college dropout who just happened to see a tweet from Bolt.new and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
What started as a weekend idea turned into a real 0 to 1 app. Now, I’m looking to take it further — adding more utilities, polishing the AI layer, and making it a go-to solution for group payments in Web3.
Let me know if you'd like to turn this into a visual post, landing page blurb, or pitch deck copy too.
