Five years ago, residents of Flint, Michigan experienced what became known as the Flint Water Crisis. Lydia lives in Troy, Michigan, just a few cities over from Flint and news of the contamination of the city's water demonstrated how real and close the issue of water contamination could be at hand. We hope to prevent such crises from occurring again by spreading awareness to various communities, especially those in the gaming community by introducing social and environmental issues in the community through a fun, yet informative, way.

What it does

Our game provides a story-driven narrative set in a post-apocalyptic world where water was once taken for granted and polluted. Our game aims to raise awareness of the value of water and portrays through an interactive game where users can experience daily life activities without clean water.

How we built it

We used Python in PyGame to program the game mechanics and all illustrations were hand drawn in Photoshop.
