Inspiration
The inspiration for splash was to establish a secure, efficient and quick way for people to be able to send and receive cryptocurrency while also being able to buy products on the online marketplace.
What it does
The overall app works within a core system which works from one screen. The screen consist of a online marketplace button option, Receive, send cryptocurrency option and settings.
How we built it
This project was built on top of Xcode: swift libraries with authentication and storage through firebase.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into when developing out this project is figuring out a sure way to pull off the project. From conducted research we wanted to utilize PayPal alongside blockchain to facilitate product transactions until cryptocurrency inclusion.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to authenticate the users into the actual platform and create a data storage system.
What we learned
We learned how to construct a data storage system and authentication steps.
What's next for Splash and BoostMe
Boostme unfortunately is currently in the idea stages and will need to be developed out later within the future but we really want to bring this idea into fruition while developing both into strong business ideas.
