Chainlink live coding video by Patrick Collins, where he showed how to build NFT with use of chainlink
What it does
It's a dynamic NFT application, that allows users to convert pieces of art into dynamic tokens stored on chain
How we built it
I use latest bitcoin price on chain, provided with chainlink oracle and based on that price I change an tokenURI linked to NFT token.
Challenges we ran into
That was my first project I did in blockchain technology, first contact with smart contracts and solidity, so there were many challenges. Starting with, how does even smart contracts work, how does Chainlink work, coding in Solidity, gas usage, brownie framework, and so on. Actually, whole project was quite a challenge to me.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I finished a project on time and it works as expected, I'm proud about that
What we learned
I treated this project as a way to learn coding on Ethereum and I learned a lot, it's even hard to list. Now I have enough understanding to start building real, useful projects on my own or with a team
What's next for Spirited
It's probably over for Spirited, I will polish a code and write more tests in it, but I think about a project which would use AI to generate NFTs, that might be a nice continuation for Spirited
