Inspiration

My father has been suffering from a herniated disc since 2018. It was difficult to watch him endure the pain and become bedridden for two months. However, his physiotherapist served as an inspiration for me. Unlike many in India, she encouraged us to pursue our interests.

What it does

A platform is available for individuals with herniated discs to connect and access various resources. These resources include personalized exercises recommended by expert physiotherapists and in-person physiotherapy sessions. Additionally, this platform offers a source of increased income for physiotherapists in India who have previously experienced difficulty finding suitable job opportunities.

How we built it

Although it is currently just a hypothetical project, I plan to launch it once I have mastered a programming language and established good connections with physiotherapists. It would be an honour to use my skills to assist individuals who are experiencing the same condition as my father.

Challenges I ran into

Not having enough knowledge about herniated disc. I was able to know about it through extensive research and meaningful conversations with my father, his physiotherapist, and his doctor.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Both my father's doctor and physiotherapist have agreed to participate in this application's launch.

What I learned

I gained valuable insights into herniated discs and how bad the condition is of doctors in our country.

What's next for SpineEase

My plan is to launch it soon after I have mastered a programming language and established good connections with physiotherapists. It would be my pleasure to utilize my skills to provide assistance to individuals who are facing this condition. This is a submission for ideathon
