How we built it
Used: Unity Game Engine, Aseprite, RetroDiffusion
Challenges we ran into
Scoping issues primarily, had to cut down on intended features due to limited number of developers.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Its a complete game!! Blessss
What we learned
Good practice for gameplay programming, setting up sensible data structures for a tile-based game, especially for readability. Learned a lot about Unity's UI system (which the whole game is built in). Fun with generative AI for the art assets.
What's next for Spin my Cosmos Balls
Cut content: Multiplayer framework is in place, and components are designed in a way that supports MP, but time... Choose upgrade system after each stage.
