Inspiration

There aren't many games out there that challenge the player base. I wanted to make a fun game that would also grow your brain.

What it does

Using the LLM the NPC generates words for the player dependent on the level to keep the game always new and fun. Training areas allow players to practice words they don't know.

How we built it

I used the LLM and Player PPV json to save the last 100 word the player has gotten correct to make a spelling game where you'll never get the same words.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into a issue where players who cant access the AI weren't able to use the LLM generated words so i had to import a list of word for those players.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm very happy with what I've done with the NPC LLMs and I cant wait to work more with them.

What we learned

I Learned that the AI NPC can do some cool thing other than read off just a script or talk about a world. Im looking forward to working with different ways to use the AI LLMs

What's next for Spelling Bee Showdown

I want to do more maps and introduce a cosmetic system where players can redeem attachables, win emotes and streak effects
