Inspiration
Our team wants to break down the barriers preventing people from becoming financially literate and increase the accessibly of learning about finance.
What it does
Our app is a web application that takes the user through a magical journey, slowing demystifying the world of finance, as they collect the lost spells.
How we built it
We used Next.js to create a smooth workflow seamlessly connecting the backend and frontend.
Challenges we ran into
Hand creating a json databank for the questions was much more difficult than we anticpated, as well as creating making UI that had a smooth user experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a beautiful app that effectively teaches people about finance in a fun way; it's something we would use ourselves!
What we learned
We learned about web development and the essential foundations of project development.
What's next for Spellbook Saving HackUTD 2025
We plan to create Spellbook Saving Mobile, an even easier way for people to learn about finances.
