The world of VR is vast. With the freedom and allowance we are given we want to be able to utilize it the best way possible. One way we can express this is by creating a virtual reality that brought brought fun into the mix. With this in mind we went to work on a virtual simulation of a game-like type of reality.
What it does
The VR allows you to play the role as a spell caster and cast fire and ice spells at target. This give you a free sense of feel that it fun and enjoyable.
How we built it
We have built a simulation using Unity with a number of prefabs set to give you the experience of a spell caster.
Challenges we ran into
We had quite the trouble establishing the drawing method for casting the spell onto the program. we set the program into several symbols that will allow you to access the caster's ability.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we were able to fix this challenging issue and apply these symbols. now you are able to cast these symbols and access these powers with little to no issue.
What we learned
We learned the many ways to establish targets too the VR as well as implement the prefabs in order to allow our user to use their powers.
What's next for Spell Casting VR
We would like to expand this project and add more targets to hit and abilities for our user to be able to use. By expanding we can make this Virtual simulation a lot more enjoyable for the user to use.
