Inspiration

We were inspired by the struggles of a close friend (O. I.) who faced homelessness, highlighting the urgent need for accessible, streamlined housing solutions.

What it does

Speedy Homes simplifies the German housing process with multilingual guidance, AI tools, and tailored recommendations for professionals, students, and families.

How we built it

Using Streamlit for a user-friendly frontend, integrated with AI-powered tools like LangChain, GPT and Google Translate, and a database for dynamic property matching.

Challenges we ran into

Managing complex workflows like multilingual integration, housing preference filtering, and shared housing matching within a limited timeframe. Time management under immense pressure is not for the faint of heart. Being creative while staying grounded for actually deliverables

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developing an intuitive platform that seamlessly combines property matching, AI assistance, and personalized guides in just two days. We have developed a end to end product, which does not require the user to leave the app to get advice, find a home and even get in touch with landlords. The simple UI is responsive and elegant. We are most proud to actually develop our vision instead of faking it for the presentation.

What's next for Speedy Home

Implement scam detection with machine learning, real-time property updates, advanced landlord-tenant compatibility scoring, and blockchain-enabled smart contracts.

Limitations

In the online demo, our own AI assistant is not available due to openAI tokens being expensive. During the Pitch we will show the functionality, especially the ability to be aware of the prior actions of the user on different pages.
