What's next for H-025-Hajj Data

H-025-hajj

What is this H-025-hajj data all about:

‘Hajj Data’ is a light-weighted and easy to integrate API, which uses face recognition to identify the haaj and when implemented right it will play a major role in the making of the hajj 2030 vision a reality more than a wish. H-025-hajj data provide data and nothing less than extremely accurate data

What will H-025-hajj data bring to the table:

H-025-Hajj Data will revolutionize the way the Hajj authorities collects data and identifies the haaj with small to no efforts at all and that’s is simply by using the face recognition technology, which will make all of this possible in a fraction of a second, and basically when you have the info that you want, only the sky will be the limit to what you can accomplish with this new cool power that you gained by using our API. The API will use a simple workflow, which is first you take picture for whomever you want to identify than the face recognition will do its work and retrieve the hajj personal data. Keep in mind that all of this is access restricted meaning that the info that will be shown to police officer are not the same that will be shown to doctor for example, all for the sake of strengthen the CIA trade (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) and have the best level possible of security especially for this kind of service.

Challenges:

The main challenge is getting the data availability and accessing that data in almost instant time.

What is next for H-025-hajj data:

Like I already said above with this solution, we already started big and only the sky is a limit and we can only grow bigger because this idea have so much potentials mainly for its nature of being an easy to integrate API, which will gave it a huge flexibility.

The existing code before the hackathon:

To bring this project to life we did used the already created code for the face recognition technology, and we also used android to developed the mobile app.

What has been created during the hackathon

We did create a Rest API to handle the request of the client which is been represented by an android mobile app. So basically the API will retrieve the data using the face recognition and delivers it to the client.

It's built with

Android studio Spring Boot
