🧠 Inspiration

The spark behind Speed RC Paywall came from a simple question: How fast can monetization be?
As a developer, I know how long it usually takes to build, tweak, and test paywalls. But with RevenueCat’s new UI builder, I saw an opportunity to break the time barrier while still delivering design fidelity and clarity of communication.

I wanted to prove that speed doesn’t have to come at the cost of quality — and that anyone, with the right tools, can turn minutes into money.

⚙️ What it does

Speed RC Paywall is a high-speed, high-accuracy demonstration of building a two-plan paywall (monthly & annual) using RevenueCat’s visual editor —
with 90%+ accuracy to the reference design.

Key features:

  • 🎨 Custom styling: fonts, colors, layout, icons
  • 🔁 Seamless plan toggling
  • 🧱 Pixel-level precision — no code used
  • 📽️ Built live, from scratch, in a single uninterrupted take

🔨 How I built it

Using RevenueCat's no-code visual paywall builder:

  1. Started from scratch, selecting a blank template
  2. Configured the layout, adjusting the typography and structure
  3. Uploaded assets: header image, icons, brand colors
  4. Created two tabs for Monthly & Annual plans
  5. Customized copy and CTA for marketing clarity
  6. Reviewed, aligned, and completed the build in one go

All while recording the entire screen, from first click to finish. ⏱️

🚧 Challenges I ran into

  • ⌛ Time pressure: Every second mattered. I had to plan meticulously.
  • 🎯 Design accuracy: Ensuring pixel-perfect match while resisting the urge to over-tweak.
  • 🧭 Focus & flow: One mistake could ruin the take — had to maintain steady speed & precision.
