Our app "SPEECH READER" give people a easy access to any language, they can write any word for knowing the pronounciation or may be he/she can increase his/her learning and speaking skill just by hearing and trying by his own. The one's who feel shy to speak infront of others they can write those things in the app and show it to others. The one's who have pronounciation problems, make mistake and fear of getting ashamed by others can perfect their speaking skills. Small childrens can learn any language by just following through it regularly after their parents write those things in the app.
What it does -
The app permits people to improve their listening and speaking skills. The app helps people to pronounce any word they are facing problems to pronounce. The app make people friendly to any language easily. Easy for parents to make their childrens and good speaker in that language by just copy pasting things in the app for pronounciation. A little knowledge about technology who just knows to use a app and wrote or copy paste sentences can easily use this app.
How we built it - Using text-to-speech modile of android studio, code on java and xml and using third party libraies. We have used machine learning(SDK)
Challenges we ran into- Challenges
As a beginner it's our first project that too in a official platform. New team, new ideas, collection of ideas leading to many problems. Without a specific person of design to design our project was a problem for us. Team members breaking teams after registering.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - that we have completed the project , within given time .And we are thankful to help some people who face this kind of problems in day to day life.
What we learned- We have learned that how a small ideas can , bring a big impact in someones life . Also how to deal with ideas or project in some specific time .
What's next for SpeechReader-
Yes there are more ideas to input which we shall try in our next app modification. Like scan and pronounce. More languages input. Voice over command (when speaked in other language would transfer onto a common language i.e English).
