Inspiration

Companies like Lenskart have been using AR for their spectacles now and there hasn't been any competition for them in this area. Hence, I thought of coming up with the idea of implementation of AR software for all other spectacles companies which they can leverage to attract more customers.

What it does

It helps the customers to try out the product on themselves from their doorsteps using their smartphones.

How I built it

I used Spark AR Studio to build this product.

Challenges I ran into

Since Spark AR was totally new for me, I went through tutorials and documentation to understand it properly. I also had to interact with the customers to get to know their problems and if they were willing to use AR in their shopping experience.

Learnt and implemented my idea using Spark AR

What I learned

I learnt about Spark AR studio and problems faced by customers while buying products like size issues.

What's next for SPECtacul_AR

Add the same functionality for clothes, shoes etc. Deploy the application on Facebook and Instagram. Building a portal for prospective sellers who want to incorporate this application on their respective websites.
