Inspiration

At school, we have to wait for the attendance sheet to come around the entire classroom and sometimes it does not reach you. We decided having it done virtually would be much easier for the professor and the students.

What it does

This app allows professors to log students attendance virtually by providing a code for them to type in, however to type in the code the student must be in that geographical location.

How we built it

We built the website using html/css. We used ArcGIS to track the geographical location of the students. We wanted to incorporate this idea because we are aware of the possibility of students texting each other the attendance code.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge we ran into would be geofencing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

As sophomores, we don't have a lot of experience with html/css, javascript but we took the time to learn and create something small.

What's next for Spectacle

Although, we did not finish we plan on continuing this project, and creating a app along with the website. We want to also include Google API's.
